The Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly and the Opposition Leader, joined by three Members of Parliament, visited Trashigang Dzongkhag for a consultation with Local Government leaders representing 15 Gewogs, civil servants, and Regional Sector Heads.

The Speaker underscored the vital role of Parliament in strengthening democracy and provided key insights into significant deliberations from past parliamentary sessions. Dasho Dzongda delivered a comprehensive presentation on the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP), outlining the strategic roadmap for Trashigang Dzongkhag’s development initiatives.

Additionally, the BDBL Manager shared an update on the Economic Stimulus Plan (ESP) loan status for the Dzongkhag, which became a central point of discussion, reflecting its significance in fostering economic resilience.
