Dzongkhag. The Gewog constitutes of five Chiwogs with 12 major villages further divided into21 minor villages. The total population of the Gewog is 3499 covering over 557 households. The climate is mainly temperate and favorable. The community of Yangneer depends on agriculture and livestock farming and maximum source of income is from vegetables farming and potato is the main cash crop grown in Yangneer.

The gewog is connected with GC road from chazam and most of the villages have access to safe drinking water supply and electricity. The gewog has two primary school and one Middle secondary School, RNREC, Garde II BHU, 5 NFE Center, 4 Community Lhakhang. Gewog Consist of one Diary cooperative Group, 4 vegetables group, 4 Community Group, one Forest Management Group. The vegetables and Diary group is linked with 3 schools under yangneer gewog for the supply of organic vegetables and as well as dairy product.
