A team led by Chief Procurement Officer from Department of Procurement and Properties (DPP) successfully conducted a two-day sensitization and training program on the revised Procurement Rules and Regulations 2025 (PRR 2025), along with hands-on sessions on e-Government Procurement (eGP), e-Tool, and the Government Inventory Management System (GIMS).
On the first day, the program commenced with a comprehensive sensitization session on the revised Procurement Rules and Regulations 2025 (PRR 2025), followed by practical training on the e-Government Procurement (eGP) and e-Tool systems. The session was attended by over 60 officials, including Local Government Leaders, Dzongkhag Tender Committee members, Engineers, Technicians, Accounts Assistants, and other personnel directly involved in procurement activities.
The second day focused on hands-on training for the Government Inventory Management System (GIMS). This session was attended by more than 80 participants comprising Gewog Administration Officers, Dungkhag Administration Assistants, and Store In-charges from schools and hospitals.
The two-day training session was crucial in enhancing participants’ understanding of the revised PRR 2025 and building their practical skills in using digital systems such as eGP, e-Tool, and GIMS. It aimed to ensure compliance with the new regulations, improve efficiency in procurement and inventory management, and promote transparency and accountability across all implementing agencies.
