𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠’𝐬 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐠 𝐓𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐝𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬

The 11th Session of the Trashigang Dzongkhag Tshogdu came to a close on Friday, wrapping up a day of discussion and review at the DT Hall.

The House endorsed the district budget for 2026–2027 at Nu 1.517 billion — Nu 264 million for capital works and Nu 1.25 billion for current expenses — along with budget allocations for each gewog.

Members also reviewed follow-up on resolutions from the 10th Session and looked at the district’s performance over the past financial year, with Gups, Tshogpas, Sector heads and regional officials present.

The session opened with traditional offerings and closed with Tashi Moelam, following closing remarks by the Thrizin and the reading of resolutions.

With the new budget in place, Trashigang moves into the year ahead with its priorities set.
