As scheduled, the general staff coordination meeting for FY 2022-2023 for Dzongkhag Headquarter was held on 23rd August 2022 spearheaded by the Officiating Dzongdag (Sr.Dzongrab). The foresighted event began with a welcome note and was followed by enunciation on ‘Open Letter to all Civil Servants’ of Hon’ble Chairperson of the Royal Civil Service Commission. A considerable number of emerging issues were discussed and corresponding decisions were made. The participants (more than 100) were informed about the new rules on Administrative Actions, budget utilization, and guidelines for tour/travel. Above all, the Officiating Dzongdag also briefed the staff regarding the austerity measures and the roles and responsibilities of civil servants. Further, deliberations on online attendance and TA/DA were also accelerated. Most prominently, the Officiating Dzongdag reminded the staff to embrace the change and reciprocate proportional acceptance to enable the paving of a reliable headway for our country. On the brink of the meeting, the participants were also given the opportunity to give feedback and unveil other issues as well. The meeting adjourned at around 7 PM by making a communal oath to re-dedicate ourselves to serve the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
